I phoned the number as per advertisement on OLX - 0712533952 - Frans. He advertised on-site repairs to fridges, freezers ect. He charged a call-out fee of R295 and R100 per hour for labour. He told me that the freezer needed gas and he needed to replace a pipe. Full amount charged was about R1200. The red alert light on the freezer was off and he told me it was fixed - within one day the red alert light was back on and the freezer not working.
He also worked on my cooldrink/wine fridge and charged me R500 for that - when my husband opened up the cover, one of the motors was disconnected. Both motors were attached with cable ties - needless to say, the fridge is not working.
When confronted with this bad service provided, his attitude was one of no care. He promised to come back to fix his mess, which he never did. At this stage I do not want him back at my house again.
I would like to warn people not to make use of his services.
