I had my laptop repaired by Wingate Computers, and after a week and a half I called to ask about progress of my repair.
The laptop was finished and ready for collection, wonder if they would have phoned me if I didn't call.
The company paid for my repair and gave me the proof of payment so that I can fetch my laptop.
when I arrived they said they do not accepts proof of payment unless it is sent directly from the bank because they have had too many proof of payments handed in and now I can only get my laptop once the amount reflects in their Bank Account.
Sorry to tell you Warrick but you do have a hing called an ID book which you can make a copy of when accepting proof of payment. Don't think all customers are the same and because you do not tjhink for yourself let other customers suffer.
We are a company of more than 40 employees which all have computer needs, but after this experience we will definitely not be making use of Wingate Computers.
