After many years of use, my Dell laptop gave up the ghost. Hard -drive and battery packed up plus the charging socket was broken. To buy a new laptop would have meant downgrading to a much smaller machine. So I contacted Dell Computers regarding a possible rebuild / repair. I was pleasantly surprised with the friendly assistance I received, as well as the quotation for the repairs. ( I had gotten prices on the spares from computer wholesale firms). Two days after I paid Dell for the service / repairs, a technician was sent to my home to do the job. I got a bit apprehensive when it was getting late on a Friday afternoon and the technician had not arrived yet. He then called me and asked if it would be acceptable for me to still have the job done though it was after 5 pm. I agreed and my computer was fixed at my home, at a surprisingly low price. I am impressed. Thank you Dell Computers.
