Lenovo's hd became faulty 2 years old?

I bought my Lenono at HiFi Corporation on 11/11/2011 -

From October I had problems, it just stop dead after a time.
I took it for reparations and they found out that the hard drive was faulty.
FAULTY AFTER EXACTLY 2 YEARS???
The lend me a hard drive just to get my work done.
I've got 4 other make hard drives older than this machine's hard drive!!! They are running just like new.
lots of people told me not to buy Lenovo, but I ignored them, now I am stuck with a 500g hard drive worth nothing after just 2 years?
Can you help me in any way?
