Shocking Service

I purchased a top of the range gaming laptop from Asus, with this kind of outlay of cash I expected only the best with regards to their product as well as the after sales service.

Unfortunately this was not the case, my laptop, which was still under warranty went completely dead and I booked it in for a service. It was collected very timeously, I was quoted a period of between 2 and 3 weeks for repairs, which seemed fairly lengthy.

After almost 4 weeks I phoned for an update, I was told it was the power supply and that I would have it back within 3 days. I phoned 2 days later to organise for a delivery time so I could be on hand to receive my laptop. I was told that it was infact the main board and RAM that was faulty.

I then phoned back later to speak with a manager who told me that it was not the RAM but infact it was the main board, power supply and optical drive. 3 people with 3 different stories.

I have today phoned to speak to the senior most person within the repair division who told me my laptop would be sorted and was under the impression I lived in Cape Town, which is not the case.

All of these people were supposed to get back to me and only 1 bothered to do so
