Vehicle was rented from Avis branch at OR Tambo - They quoted me R1083 for the period of 4 days, they immediately charged my debit card for R1970, asked them: Why? - they replied that the additional R900 was for fuel, they convinced me that they would refund me the money if I returned the vehicle full of fuel - which I did. On return of the vehicle I told them that the vehicle is full of fuel and requested my refund - they told me that they would first inspect the vehicle and only then refund me. They then charged my debit card an additional R24, I called them with my invoice and requested to speak to the agent with that helped me initially (only an agent employee number was on the agreement) - they advised me that no person is employed at the branch with such a employee number. When I also looked at my agreement later I saw that the agreement is not reflecting the correct times when the vehicle was rented. I'm dissatisfied with this company and plan to use any other company except them.
