In 2012 we approached CJD Boksburg to custom a Jeep Wrangler for us, to make it "one of a kind in SA, " we had the bumpers color coded, put on new rims, tinted the windows, lifted the suspension etc. We were in Cape Town awaiting our vehicle which took 2 weeks longer than expected, only to see an advert in the Benoni newspaper and find out the sales rep took our concept and made 5 cars the exact same (except put cheaper rims on) and put his stamp on calling it the "WRANGLER ICE"! Now we have returned to JHB and are very dissappointed to drive around and see the exact same cars driving around town, after we paid close to R100 000 to custom it to make it original. Obviously there is no law that some one can't copy your car/idea, but it that they knew I wanted to make it an original and then made 5 the same! We am very happy with the vehicle we got but are disappointed someone our idea and wasted our money and time to make it an original...
