In reference to my earlier complaint; I did not hear any feedback from Chrysler SA, until I threatened to take them to the media- and when I did so, their After Sales Manager Alan Klotz replied in the rudest, most condescending fashion possible! He informed me that the problem is a component failure, he will not consider exchanging the vehicle and I must immediately arrange to have their courtesy vehicle returned and pick up my own! He added that, should I not be happy with the decision I can contact the Motor Industry Ombudsman and that as far as he is concerned the matter is settled. He also accused me of giving different facts than his managers- on my own vehicle, for goodness' sake!!!
Well, it is off to the MIO, and lets see whether the media would actually respond.
Whatever the case, don't buy a Jeep! Even the year old demo they lent me as a courtesy car was falling apart! Before the year is over, this Jeep is getting sold!
If you feel like buying a Chrysler product, have a good sleep and buy something from a reliable company who actually delivers what they promise, give after sales service and do not have rude, attitude-infested managers working there!
