Quick to bill, slow to repay deposits

I returned a rental without incident last Wednesday when I was told that billing is sorted within 48 hours. Nothing has happened in the last 5 days. When I called this morning, after 96 hours, I was told the bill hadn't been processed yet, but that it will now be requested and I will receive my bill today and my deposit will be released overnight. Eight hours later and nothing has happened.

What's more, after staying on the line for ten minutes to make a follow up call to the call center, my call was dropped.
