SHOCKING EXPERIENCE

My Getz went for a service 2weeks ago, the car was perfect prior to the service.shortly after collection there was a burning smell, followed by no interior electrics working. Checked the fuse box & found the main fuse was blown, I replaced. Later the smell was back & the fuse blew again. I took car to Berea Auto they had a look, checking for the common causes of continual shorting, they couldn't find the problem & said I must take the car back to Hyundai Pinetown as the car is still under Warranty & it would be a warranty claim. I called Hyundai Pinetown & spoke Ryan (service mng) he was very helpful & said I must bring car in, he said it might be a faulty Tracker battery. I took the car in, he said this would be a warranty claim, & would let me know of the outcome. On Thurs pm Ryan called to say they had found the problem;there were coins in the radio which caused the radio to burn out, he said this now wouldn't be a warranty claim & I would need to pay R2000 before I could collect the car. I asked if they had replaced the radio, but the cost was only for finding the problem. So NO QUOTE given prior to work being done, & they cant give me a break-down to how they get to that amount.
