I took my car for service about 3 weeks ago Car service City Benoni CBD. A week later while on a long trip decided to check water and oil and lo and behold my battery had been replaced with an old seemingly reconditioned Exide battery. I phoned and spoke to John who told me they don't remove batteries during service to which i said it was apparent that some had removed it secretly. My battery was the new maintenance free type that doesn't need filling up with battery water. But the one they put in is the old type with openings on the top side which were not present on my original battery. John said he would investigate and get back to me. I am still waiting for him a week later. Car Service City are and i want my battery back.
