I contacted Riaan telephonically and via email on Monday the 25 March 2013 to query the status of my new number permanent plates for the a vehicles purchased a few weeks prior. I mentioned to Riaan that the temporary "paper plate" is due to expire on the 30 March 2013 and that i needed the permanent plate before Thursday the 28 March 2013 as we were going on holiday that weekend and didnt want any issues whilst travelling. He promised to have them delivered to my office in Bryanston on Wednesday the 27 March 2013, but alas no plates on the day. I contacted Auto Ren Toyota on the Thursday the 28 March to enquire what had happened only to find out Riaan was on leave and that someone else would assist me! I got a call back 2 hours later saying that they will follow up on this matter. It is now the 4 April and i still havent heard anything from the dealship! A real poor attitude towards a customer when the sales person hadnt had to work for deal that was just handed to him. Any fines incurred will be handed over to Toyota to settle.
