General Motors South Africa
POOR WORKMANSHIP

GM has got some of the best vehicles on the market compare to its competition but dealers like Weskaap Motors Service Department is not doing such a brand any good and that is sad.

My vehicle, an Opel Vivaro P/V was taken in for a 105000km service on the 5th of March 2013. I personally and not one of my drivers took it in to the dealership. Everything went very well thanks to the very professional service advisor. The vehicle was done and the same service advisor explained what was done to my vehicle and also said that rear brakes can still last till next service.

Up till this point I was the happiest customer one can get.

My vehicles is used to do deliveries to my valued customers. The Friday 8th of March 2013 the vehicle returned from a delivery and the driver informed me that a noise is coming from the rear wheels. Vehicle was taken back to dealership that has done the service. Unfortunately the service advisor was of on Saturday. So technician/mechanic inspected the vehicle (the same one that did the service on the 5th of March). According to him he reported to the service advisor that the rear brakes was due for replacement. Nothing was instructed to him for replacing the
