Garmin GPS not working in Range Rover Evoque

Good day,
I await your urgent feedback please - refer to all my letters addressed to you. I am going away for two weeks (lots of travelling) and need to use my Garmin GPS. Now that we know what the problem is, no one assist me anymore... Do I really need to call in a third party's help, to assist me with this matter and announce this to the public (Evoque owners), whom sit with the same problem.

This news came with a big shock!!!
Is there perhaps a contact person with whom I can take up this matter further. I bought a R2500-00 GPS to work in my Evoque, for I do not use the vehicle's navigation and now I have to put it in a drawer, because of this IRR windscreen. This is unacceptable, first time in my life we hear of such problem and now they come out with non-IRR windscreens. What about all the previous models, like mine? Do you perhaps know if Land Rover will compromise by fitting a non-IRR windscreen??? I can't buy a R600, 000 vehicle and sit with this kind of problem
