I purchased a pre-owned vehicle over the internet from Stargate Auto
I saw the vehicle at delivery which was after 7 in the dark. I could not inspect the vehicle in detail. I completed detail inspection within 14 days from delivery and took some pictures.
The inside of the wheel arches were sprayed black to give a good impression, clear spray markings on the body, spare tire and shock absorbers.
Clearly the vehicle was not serviced and confirmed by the service history where 2 services are not recorded.
Wanda confirmed that it is policy to do a lube service and later confirmed that she could not find proof that it was not done.
Wanda undertook to arrange and pay for the service I just need to get a quotation.
Subsequently they responded and said the service is my responsibility as it is not required by law to be done by the dealer.
Delivery charges of R2, 500 were added on invoice and detailed as "Radio"
The warranty sold was added to the invoice and over charged by R2, 040.
After informing them of this mistake, they undertook to refund the over charge after deducting additional delivery charges
