E-Car Centurion
Liable to pay R5230 due to misdiagnosis

Purchased our Opel Corsa Lite from Hyundai Centurion (from Danie) Aug '12 which we purchased with the extended warranty @ R5000. Thankfully we did this as so far it has been in the garage 4 times at a total of two weeks (and counting).
In Nov / Dec (I don't recall the exact date) I noticed that it was overrevving with a tick in the dashboard. It wasn't terrible and then in an intersection the car just cut off and wouldn't 'turn over'. Got towed home. Managed to drive the car to ECar (Centurion) to get checked out. Was told there was nothing wrong with the car (yes because they cut out for no reason). Got the car back only to have the same thing happen. This time they fixed the coil (R3000 on warranty) and returned the car. Then it began overheating and overrevving up to 7000! Immediately switched off the car. Towed back and they fixed it again. Got the car back and it seemed ok. Last two weeks it has started overrevving ever so slightly, we were planning to book it in but unfortunately it overheated and was damaged before we could manage! Seems the water pump has been going and gave out. Now SA Warranties will only cover the pump. ECar have not commented. Terrible treatment.
