On 11 March 2013 I rented a car from the Durban Airport branch (as I do often being a Gold Card member). Once at the car I noticed that both the rear tyres were not fully inflated - something that can cause an accident and even kill me of other motorists.
I went back to the office and advise the employees. They were visibly not fazed and merely gave me another car. I phoned the head office in Cape Town who promised the regional manager will contact me, and... Nothing - no call - no sms - no email - no dove with a message - no smoke signal.
Hertz seemingly does not think it is a big deal to endanger their customer's lives..?? and deem themselves way too busy making money to attend to such insignificant hassles..
