To whom it may concern,
I was highly disappointed by the service that I received from Avis Midrand yesterday.
I was booked for a group F car over 2months ago - yesterday when they delivered the car, they brought a group D car and they were telling me stories that they didn't have a car for me, blah blah blah. The lady I spoke to - promised to have a group F car delivered to me by the same afternoon. Her name is Bongi - she didn't call me, I had to call them and ask when the car was going to be delivered. She said to me that the car that I was supposed to get was due for service and that there was nothing she could do - which means I was stuck with the same car for another day?
Reality is that Avis knew 2 months before that I would be needing a Group F car on that specific day, why didn't they plan accordingly? I pay for a service so it's not like they are doing me any favours. After I spoke to this woman, she didn't even apologise or anything. There was no resolution. When I go to a shop and pay for a 500ml coke, I expect that and not a can of coke.
Any company that keeps on failing their customers damages its reputation and this is exactly what Avis is doing.
