Peter (the owner) accepted my deposit payment for a move 1 March but forgot to send me a detailed list. On the website contact sheet I listed some of the items I wanted to have moved from my 4 bedroom house, and expected to specify the rest on the detailed list (which I didn't receive). On arrival (two hours late - I called them to say I didn't mind) the supervisor was rude, demanded a detailed sheet and treated me like a criminal for not having filled one. His boss Peter admitted to fault for not sending me a detailed list but continued to demand nearly double the price for one extra trip (old and new house only a minute apart) with no room for negotiation. Either I pay up or no service. He'd refund my deposit. He knew that it was late on a Friday afternoon and that it would be difficult for me to make alternate arrangements. I cancelled on principle that he was unprofessional and unfair with me. Next morning he phoned to say I won't get my deposit back. Please stay away from Peter's. He told me to look at Hello Peter at the other companies I was considering to get my business, and look what he does? This was extortion. His supposed 'good reputation' is no more
