Peter Martin from Marble Arch Properties has acted in a rude and unprofessional manner towards myself as a rental agent. He has deducted R1100 from a rental deposit. I agreed to R250, but he has decided for in my opinion unfair reasons. We can do nothing at this point as he refuses to get the issue resolved through the rental housing tribunal. In other words, he takes money and there is NOTHING you can do (although i will take this to the end). He also did not get the rest of the deposit back within the agreed amount of time as stipulated.. Becareful when dealing with Marble Arch Properties and Peter Martin in Cape Town. If he did the ethical thing and provided proof to the Rental Housing Tribunal and I lost, it would make sense. But taking money on his own accord and not having the decency to get the dispute resolved is unfair, unprofessional, and this is a warning to future clientele of Peter Martin and Marble Arch Property's.
