Purchased demo car on 19 December 2012 with approx 4500km on clock. Full warranty existed and no one told me that the car was abused/misused by previous drivers. I have owned and driver many cars over the years, including sports cars which my family own such as the AudiTT, Peugeot convertible and Bmw's. None of these high performance cars ever had any clutch problems, nor did they develop any over the many years that I drove them. Now I am being insulted by the Dealership who accuse me of driving the car negligently and in a manner that has caused the clutch to break. I am offended that after I supported them so loyally and trusted them, they find it so easy and without conscience to push the buck onto me. I am told that the repair is not covered under the warranty and that I would have to pay over R8000 for the repair thereof. They do not acknowledge that I have driven the car for only 2 months, while it was driven by unknown people for over 8 months. It shows bad faith in this dealership and the way they treat clients. I am absolutely shocked with their attitude and refute any blame they lay on me. In fact I believe they sold me a faulty car knowing it would break down!
