Car purchased: 2011 Hyundai i10 from Hyundai Parrow. Promises made by Hyundai Parrow when I purchased the car:
1. Scratches on car to be fixed
2. 30 000 service to be done before delivery of vehicle
3. New hub caps & tyres to be fitted on car
4. Cigarette lighter placed in car on acceptance of ownership.
I paid my R35 000 deposit on the car and signed the paperwork on Tuesday, 12 February. Finance was approved. I waited a week since "the car was at the panel beaters to be fixed" yet by Monday, 18 March I still could not take ownership of the car. After numerous attempts, the car was finally dropped off at my work (much later than the agreed/scheduled time) but I was not able to be there and the key was simply left with the front office manager. On inspection I noted that none of the above mentioned promises were attended to. No service book stamped. Fan belt making a noise. Petrol Tank not filled up. I have not been contacted to arrange for the fixing of the car and have not signed paper work taking full ownership of the car. Yet, I paid R3070.17 as part of a 'Delivery Pack". Their lack of professionalism should not be part of a company held in high regard such as Hyundai.
