First National Battery
Faulty Alternato

Good Day, i first brought my vehicle to Battery Centre Observatory when my alternator packed up in May 2012, which they replaced. 8 months later the alternator then again packed up and brought my vehicle back to them on the 4th of Feb, as the part should not have ceased after 8 months, to my dismay, the guarantee from the supplier was only 6 months. Emile Maree who is the auto electrician advised that I will probably pay the full price to have it replaced, however said he will see what he can do. He can back to me later in the afternoon, advising me that he can replace the part at cost and I had no alterntive. So I agreed. Emile, then advised me a little while after that, he was in negotiatons with the supplier to have the part replaced at no cost, but merely labour on his side. The next day, Emile called me to advise that he managed to have the supplier replace the part. The part would of cost approximately R2, 500 and in the end I paid R450 for labour. Thank you Emile Maree as well as Andre Du Toit for your great customer service and going the extra mile, you defintely have a customer for life. Regards, Philip
