My car has gone in for repairs on the 10 Jan, and I was informed that it will take 7 working days, today is day 33 and I still don't have the car. Each time I call, they have to check and promise to get back to me; I have to call back again and each time I then get given a new day to pick it up. the car has moved from getting a paint job to panel beating, today its back to paint job even though I was told last week Thursday I should be able to pick it up today. The receptionist is now telling me that to would be ready on Wed.
Counting from day 8 until when they decided to give me a courtesy car - car hire (Hyundai i20 @ Avis) costs R375pd * 19 days = R7 125- and that is how much I'm planning to pay less on the invoice when I finally get my car.
