My husband went to Hot Pot a few months ago to get paint for our bedroom walls. It turned out to be roof paint. We went back to exchange it, and prepared myself for some battle.
Instead, we were greeted at the door by an extremely friendly young man. No pretending, he was genuinely friendly. At the counter, we were greeted by another very friendly lady. She advised us to pick a colour from their wide range, and had the paint mixed. The lady at the pay point was equally friendly.
Coming home, we started to paint the wall, and found that it was not the exact colour we picked out on the colour chart. I went back again, ready to pick a fight if they refuse to exchange the paint. Only to be cheerfully greeted again by every soul I came across. The paint guy quickly took my paint, and went to the back to add extra tint, and with a broad smile handed me back my perfectly mixed paint.
Really, no job or question is too big or too small or too much for these people. And their friendliness, helpfulness and customer service just blow me away every time I shop there. Well done guys!
