Hi
We purchased a motor vehicle from ALPINE MOTORS commercial department..
The salesman was a Mr Trevor Erasmic.
A deal was struck and a price was agreed upon.
All correspondences was done via email.
At the time of signing the bank agreement i noticed there was a price discrepancy of R1328.8. I called the dealership and spoke to Trevor who assured me that i can go ahead and sign the docs and he will sort out the balance due to me once the BANK pays him.
Knowing that we are not dealing with slim shadys and a reputable firm i then signed on the promise that payment will be made.
Weeks went by and I contacted Trevor who told since the deal was closed he will refund me by means of a SPOTTERS FEE (this is when you give a dealer a lead to sell a motor vehicle ---> commission paid to you after they sell the m/v). 'my fee was rejected."
I submitted this 'claim' on the notion that as long as I get what's due to me in principal i didn't care nor bother.
Weeks went by and Trevor kept on ignoring me and making excuses.
Finally i got hold of Kevin (senior management). He gives me a call and says that what you signed is BINDING. what was quoted was paid although i have another quote.
