I signed for a Toyota Fortuner on the 17th of January at Melrose Arch Nedbank, where they also did not explain any of the documents that I signed for the vehicle. The motor car dealer (Star motor) then send the car up from Cape Town, as I did sign for the vehicle per the Nedbank agreement. Then today the 27th of January they phoned to cancel the deal as per my insurance I'm not the only regular driver - thus this being a third party finance they cancelled the deal. Now Star Motor is keeping me liable for all expenses incurred regarding the cost to bring the vehicle to me.
Should I not get a physical document from the bank telling me, that the deal has been cancelled?
As well why should I be responsible for the motor dealers cost to bring up the vehicle if they were suppose to first wait for the bank to approve the deal 100%?
