24 May 2013 my husband and I visited Prima Motors to look at a vehicle. Trevor (sale person) told us the vehicle was 2013 model, with approx. 5000 km's @ R240 000-00.After this Trevor confirmed to me on about 5 separate occasions the price, year model and km's. On delivery of the vehicle he showed me on the km's on the odo was 5030 on my request. I proceeded to sign the contract found out that the vehicle was indeed a 2012 for R249 000-00.I nevertheless, considering the low mileage decided to proceed. When I arrived at home with the vehicle escorted by Trevor and his lift from the dealership I asked him why the odometer was saying 16 400.He climbed into the driver side, pushed some buttons and said to me it was only the trip meter & showed me that again the odometer showed 5000 something. I parked the car in the garage and later we checked the service book & saw that the vehicle was serviced for its 10 000 km service in Jan 2013.Trevor went out of his way to mislead me regarding the km's on this vehicle. After I complained the contract was e-mailed to me and the DP claims I was aware of odo reading as it appears on the contract, this was NOT filled when I signed.
