On 7/10/2024, HI-Q Boksburg performed a wheel alignment for me because my bakkie was pulling slightly to the left. After the alignment, for which I paid R450.00, they gave me a computer printout regarding the alignment with a handwritten report on the top stating: "Caster & Camber bolt & bushes for control arms need to be changed due to excessive camber on the left side please." The technician who did the alignment also told me that a nut needed for the adjustment couldn't be turned anymore.
When I left HI-Q Boksburg, my bakkie was pulling heavily to the left. On 14/7/2024, I took my bakkie to Vaal Wheel Alignment and didn't tell them anything about HI-Q Boksburg. I just asked them to do the wheel alignment, which they did perfectly, with no mention of needing to replace the caster and camber.
I went back twice to HI-Q Boksburg and asked for a refund of my R450.00 because they made an error, and I'm not prepared to pay for a non-service. Their representative, Jazzmyn, promised me they would refund me on 5/12/2024, but as of today, I have not received any refund. Clearly, their technician is incompetent, and I'm not prepared to pay for their shoddy workmanship.
