My issue at hand is that my Discovery 4 was parked at Land Rover Polokwane for a diagnosis and we were informed that it needed an engine replacement. I rejected the land Rover cost estimate as they were charging me R300, 000.00 for a new engine.
I then negotiated a sale with them which they first offered me R20, 000.00 for my vehicle which I rejected. Days later as I was intending on fetching the vehicle, I got a call from the sale executive with an offer of R45, 000.00. I responded by saying I will get back to him, because my intention was to fix the engine. When I sent my uncle to fetch the car from the dealership, he was informed that it has been sold for R45, 000.00 which was a big shocker. I then emailed the sales executive to return the car and he told me unfortunately the car can't be recovered It has already been scrapped.
Right Now Land Rover Polokwane's Solution is for me to take the R45, 000.00 which is greatly unreasonable.
