Arrogance without Sympathy

I got a financed vehicle from standard bank, was paying alright until we reach the lock down issue where i started to struggle paying my full instalment to my car.
I was not aware that i must ask for payment holiday and the standard bank called be demanding their money, i tried to explain to them my situation and difficulties but they never care, i mean we are all in this predicament together as a country but still in demand.
why can't they just add the outstanding month to the end of my contract then it will me easy because paying those month behind it's a mission also.
