I have a Edgards credit card through Standard Bank. About 18 months ago I came back from overseas due to my mother being diaginosed with a terminal illness. When I arrived back in South Africa, i had no place of employment. I had some funds in the bank to last a few months so as to pay accounts. I did however contact STD bank and explain my situation. I entered into a payment arragement with them. The arrangement would be that I would not be able to use my card any longer and continue to pay my min installement. Once I got employment I started paying more than my min installment per month as well as before the due date. Much to my dismay, as per ITC, STD bank has not only listed me as a slow payer, they have listed that I am 30days behind!! When I enquired requiring this, I was told that they could see as per their system I paid on time and more than I should but because of the arrangement, they would not remove me from ITC and only once the full amount was paid would it be removed and then it would be my duty to get it removed!! So what is the use of me paying on TIME EVERY MONTH and PAYING EXTRA only for them to mess my scoring up. I think this is unacceptable and totally unfai
