I took my car for a service a while back and the moment I picked it up it drove different.
A week after my service I took it in telling them about a noise I am concerned about and that I must refill my water regularly, I specifically asked the guy do I need to replace waterpump, he said it's not urgent I must monitor it.
About a week after that I took it back because the sound got worse and there were spills on engine again I was assured that it is nothing major and the waterpump should not be a concern.
Yesterday it made a scary noise coming from the Engine and today I took it in and made them listen to the noise as I recorded it when it happened one of the Managers had someone look at it and they told me the waterpipe needs to be replaced I asked about time and part availability they told me they have the part and it Will take about a day to fix, I told him I don't have time today as I have meetings but will book it in and have a driver take the car in by Friday. I asked the guy to clean the engine as the spills worry me, he cleaned it and came to inform me the engine light came on which was not on when I took vehicle in. He then said he will have a look at it then he came back telling me it's conne Ted to the waterpipe it is off now but will come back on. I asked him if I can still drive the car to my meeting in Ceres now and he said yes. The minute I asked accelerating on the N7 my car lost power it pulled to the back asif it is about to die something it didn't do when I drove my car there.
I now await a tow truck as I am fearful to drive it like that. Not only will I be missing an important meeting but I am furious at the service.
I been a loyal client for over 8 years with VW I referred my clients entire fleet as well as my company car to Barons VW I am now concerned that I might have made a huge mistake and thinking to inform my client of this before they experience the same thing.
Kindly advise what I am to do next.
