Saturday my cars (2003 Polo 1.6) middle rear engine mounting broke. Phoned Barons who advised there is no one that can assist and that I must call on Monday. So I left the car at my Parents place and was carless.
I phoned them on Monday (08/04/2013) and advised them that the engine mounting had broke and that I need them to replace it asap as i can not drive the car like that. They nicely advised me that they can only help me on the 18th as they only work by bookings... I asked them what I should do for 10 days as the vehicle is my primary and only transport, they could not answer me. I asked to speak to an Manager but they advised that he is in a meeting. I then asked who I can speak to and they advise they will put me thru to Barny. I have not heard from him.
How do you have a service department that only works via booking, what happens to the person that has an emergency breakdown.
This is the worst service I have ever gotten from any dealer ship and they are not even willing to assist. If this is the way that VW Barons treat their customers then I don't think that they will get my business ever again.
I will take my vehicle to someone who can assist me.
