Having my window explode as I was trying to close it on 27 December bad enough. Spending two days on the phone to BMW (Roadside as well as Auto Atlantic) NOBODY could advise me what to do. My car is under warrantee which means only they can work on it. This was a Friday and I was in the Eastern cape 2hrs from my nearest BMW. I should wait until Monday and drive 2 hrs to fix it. Woman alone thank you BMW for caring about my safety. And I had to drive home to Cape Town by Monday... The mechanism which caused my window to break (previously twice repaired by BMW if I allowed anyone else to look at it, no longer guaranteed). I pay a lot of money for my warrantee. So have a Perspex window put in, no disturbing the mechanism causing all this trouble. No customer services available, no body in warrantee, only kind unofficial advice from BMW employees working on that weekend. Call Auto Atlantic on Monday while driving back to CT, book my car in tell my story for the 50th time. Take my car in on 2 Jan Thursday, get the run around all day, yes they will repair under warrantee but they don't have a window. Monday more issues nobody calls back. Tuesday called them 7 times with no call back...
