Booked a cars with travel jigsaw and on upon collection on of the car asked for a car to be swapped to a mini bus as this is what we initially wanted. The consulted making the booking did not explain the financial implications of this swap and he did not even explain that the booking is actually a new booking its not the travel jigsaw booking any longer.
This we realised after dropping off the car when money was deducted from the credit card, i called the company and only the i was told the R8696.09 which i signed for in the invoice/contract was not actually the amount I'm paying fro the booking, the actual amount including the vouchers we paid with jigsaw is R11264.62.I was not happy about the service given by this consultant and when approaching the manager about this issue and that explanation was not given, he told me that he believe his consultant not myself and the did not know the voucher amount thus could not give me the exact price then. This mistake has caused me R3000 and i was told I'm a above all this pain. In resolution the manager offered me an upgrade next time i book the car with them, in this lifetime i dnt see myself doing business with hertz ever again.
