Car is delivered to Cape Town. Car does not run. Car does not start. Car is taken to Tata in Brooklyn. Quote to repair damage to vehicle caused by refuelling R27000. TOTAL PERMANENTLY DAMAGED MY CAR and as most corporates do, will do anything possible to manoervre their way out of any liability. I now do not have a car. I am a single mother of a cognitively impaired child. I cannot work as I do not have a car. TOTAL, your only solution now is to buy the car for scrap and provide me with a new car. I have not been able to drive my own car for 81 days! Emails to Aintree Burns, Philile (Port Elizabeth), Zeenat Cajee (legal) and the MD's PA go unanswered and phone calls are not returned. Total is insured against this type of event yet simply take advantage of women in particular. (I was seriously intimidated by Guy Clift the franchisee and his levell of rudeness is of unbelievable proportions. I will settle for NOTHING LESS than a new car.
