Inefficient Training of staff cost me 4K

The Douglasdale Total garage pumped up my tyres and managed to break the valve and then in trying to repair it with plyers, damaged the rubber of the valve too. I immediately contacted who I was told was the owner, Paul. Paul assured me he would cover all expenses incurred and even the runflat tyre if the valve was irreparable. Needless to say I was ignored the following day, I had to take matters into my own hands and drive to TWT on the runflat, where I was told I had to have the tyre replaced. 3 weeks later after no resolution and ignored emails, I receive an email to say that they wouldn't be paying for the damage done to my tyre and that they still hope for my support. I spent 4k on a runflat tyre that was going to be covered by the garage because they damaged it and now all responsibility is being evaded. APPALLED. DO NOT GO TO TOTAL DOUGLASDALE. If they knew how to pump up tyres this wouldn't have happened. It is clearly a safety issue to anyone, we all need 4 tyres on our car, damage to one is dangerous. I expect to be reimbursed as I was assured.
