I called Tyre Mart Midrand and was quoted on a pair of Nexen tyres. I took my vehicle to have my tyres replaced. After completion of the work, I inspected the tyres. I found that a cheaper brand of tyre was used called Sunny. Upon enquiring I was told by Carl that Nexen supplies the Sunny brand. I found this strange since Nexen is made in South Korea and Sunny is made in China. Carl insisted that he was correct. What a bunch of. I would have driven away thinking I have put on Nexen tyres whilst driving a cheap Chinese brand. Worse still I would have paid the Nexen price.
Is this the ethical business practice of all Tyre Mart branches?
