I bought the new Honda CR-V, 2013 release, in December 2012.
I have absolutely no complaints with the CR-V itself. Love the car.
The CR-V was however released with Continental Cross-Contact 225/65 R17 Tyres.
I have had to replace 4 x brand new tyres this last year, all with side-wall punctures.
3 of the punctures were caused by thorns from the Acacia tree in our drive-way.
It should however be noted that the two other cars in our driveway, one fitted with Corsa tyres that were on special and the other, a small little Hyundai fitted with 13 inch tyres, have had no such incident.
The Cross-Contact is designed for SUVs and 4x4s...
I have since started to research this specific tyre.

Please note the especially low score the tyre receives for Wear and Customer Satisfaction.
My concern is with Honda fitting the new CR-V with such a sub-standard tyre.
I have since switched to another tyre brand.
Honda should seriously consider changing this Continental tyre for the new CR-V models.
This tyre is not reflecting well on the Honda Brand and experience.
