I recently (not recently, but anyways) had a engine problem with my renault and subsequently sent it in. I understand that the manufacturers for Renault parts are located in France and that the pieces have to be sent in via ship, but the reason for my complaint more in the fact that the dealership has had the pieces available for over a month now but cannot find the time to carry out the simple job. I have been left without car for around 6 months now and have had to permanently rent cars, and as a result i have been financially wiped. I find the attitude of the employees shocking and from this experience have finally decided to resort to websites such as these to simply voice my angst and share my experience for others who are thinking about buying Renault's in South Africa or even dealing with this particular branch. THINK AGAIN, i have never had such an inconvenience in my life. (i have never complained about something on a website such as this before)
