Renault did contact me and took some information regarding my complaint. We sent a few e-mails up and down and then I heard nothing from them.
I can only conclude that they don't care a hoot about the product, aren't bothered about service and are unconcerned about my anti Renault drive. I have posted various topics on motoring forums regarding this and will continue to do so.
Please take this warning seriously. DO NOT BUY A RENAULT. Especially not a DCi or turbo diesel. The Nissan range with the DCi engine are at the same risk. The engine is a Renault DCi engine and it is seriously flawed. I can quote many websites that will give you all the reasons not to buy a Renault.
Just google Known problems of Renault DCi engine and you will find all the information and reasons to stay away from one.
