Cracked Radiator expansion tank after service

I took my Ford Ikon 1.4 Ambiente registration XJT 635 PG for a 105 000km service on the 27 Nov 2013. The following day the car started leaving water on my garage floor, I noticed that but decided to give it a day or two. Then I took the car back to The extra mile people and explained the problem to them. To my surprise the receiptionist gentleman told me that they have other ford cars like fiesta and ikon which are said to have the same problem after service. He further said that the car was properly serviced and it is not their fault. He said the only thing they can do is to replace the that part for me at an additional R800.

I have never heard of ford cars with that and in this case my car never had such problems until it came out of the service.

I need help in this regard, to know whether I really need to pay for my car to be repaired of what I believe is their fault or it is trully a ford problem.
