Sasol Not Owing Up For Damages Caused By Drive

On 20/11/2013 around 6:45 a Sasol truck driver ran me off the road causing me R4500 in tyre damages. After countless emails and finally finding the department responsible for the driver, the Secunda department dos not want to own up to their negligent driver which could have caused me my life leaving my family without a father son grandchild etc. After speaking to Corrie Du Toit and hoping we could resolve this matter and taking the time to fill in all the documents required by him, I receive a mail stating that my story and the drivers story doesn't match up. To me this is common sense that the driver being at fault will of course not own up that it was hes fault fearing he might get dispensed for bad driving. To me this is not the right attitude from a manager. I was not at fault and feel that the damages caused should not be on my account. So I had to take monies from my savings to buy new tyres as it is the only means for me to get to work. So now I cant provide for my family over this festive season because of 1 negligent driver costing me my children's money. So now I will have to explain why there will be no presents this year. Sasol owes me damages which is fair.
