I ordered my new Vodacom upgrade on Wednesday 6th Nov, and received an SMS on Friday morning saying my order had been invoiced and would be delivered shortly.
I called RAM Customer Care in the morning to find out when my handset would be delivered and they confirmed it would arrive before 5pm. Around 3pm I called again to follow up & they confirmed that the delivery was still scheduled for latest 5pm. Well 5pm came and went. I called again and was told that I'd need to call the branch myself as everyone had left the call centre at 5pm. A bit disappointed that I had waited all day to receive my parcel & then had to do all the running around to locate it myself. I called the Bellville branch and spoke to Michael - who was the only person I'd spoken to all day who made the effort to turn the situation around. He tracked down my parcel and got a driver to travel from Bellville to the Atlantic Seaboard after-hours to deliver my handset.
I wish I could remember his name, but the driver was also kind & friendly. A BIG THANKS to these two people for going the extra mile. I hope RAM appreciates them for the hard work they do!
