Shocking service

My husband and I popped into BMW this morning to enquire about a new car. There were a few sales people standing around chatting, one of them turned around to look at us and continued chatting to his colleague. Another one was sitting in front of his computer and we decided to approach him. As we greeted him, he continued sitting down while chewing his gum. We asked him about the 2% deal BMW was running and if it was still applicable to which he replied "no, it was only running for 3 days, ending last Saturday". Now you would think that en "exclusive brand" like BMW would jump at the opportunity to provide a customer with excellent service and try to make a deal during these tough times, but I guess it's more important checking your e-mails (while chewing your gum) and chatting to your colleagues!! I am a BMW driver and enjoy the car, my next car however will be a different brand, where the staff are a little less snobbish and eager to help a customer.
