I dropped my bag 9h00 at counter 65. I was treated very rudely by Mtemba, the check-in clerk.
There was a woman standing ON the conveyer belt chatting to him. I did not great immediately because he was chatting to this woman. He eventually turned to me and said " ID please". No good morning... Just ID please... I asked him if we don't great anymore to which he immediately replied that I should great him first. I said that I was waiting for his attention because he was busy talking to a woman standing on the conveyer belt. He printed my boarding pass and just slapped it down on the counter with an attitude. No goodbye...
He also never asked if I had packed my bags myself, nor did he asked whether I am carrying any forbidden objects etc.
when I left the counter he just continued chatting to the woman on the conveyer belt.
The service levels are applying, to say the least. I trust I will receive a response from SAA.
People like Mtemba should rather be used in the back office where they don't come in contact with the public.
