MERCEDES BENZ - big name, POOR SERVICE

Over a year ago I bought a Pre-Owned Merc at New Vaal Motors. I thought I was buying a decent car, little did I know... A few months later, it started making some noises. I then contacted the sales person and told him about the noise. He asked me to bring the car to be checked but I was told there was nothing wrong with it. Weeks later, the noise started again, I phoned the sales person again and was told to bring the car in but nothing was found. The noise didn't stop, it would come every now and again. I sent the sales rep an email but he just forwarded it to the workshop manager. My vehicle has been booked in and out of the workshop for the past 5-7 months but it is still making the same noise. Right now its been over a month since the last repair and I emailed the workshop manager and told him that the noise is still there... am still waiting for a response. It's clear that the technicians at New Vaal cannot fix my car but what I don't understand it why don't they send the car back to the factory so they can sort the problem out? I have requested for a new, similar car but they say I would have to re-apply (Pay more for the inconvenience caused by Mercedes). I am very disappointed at Mercedes
