It is quite ironic and petty that both the financial manager of this dealership as well as the Dealer Principal will be willing to fight me in the small claims court for R500, but will not comment on an open forum such as hellopeter. Well I guess it must be difficult for Michael since he cannot use swear words on hellopeter and shout and scream.
R500 is a lot of money for me and I was robbed of it by being told that it was refundable, but then being told that I am not entitled to it by Michael Koberstein, the dealer principal (this was of course after he hurled abuse at me)
It is quite strange as well that he said that Toyota does not have a say in how he runs his business, especially since his business has Toyota in his name.
In the end I think he and his dealership are just a bit grumpy because I refused to buy a smelly dinged up disgusting car and instead found a better one from Hyundai Pinetown.
I must also say that I have in the past received better service from Durban South Toyota so I recommend that people try them over Thekwini Toyota
It will probably be also unlikely that Durban South will be all smiles in the beginning, but become loud underhanded later.
