I took my Alfa Romea for minor service and clutch recon in Pretoria East (Silverlakes) with the hope that it will be serviced by a professional who knows his work but I was wrong. First, the manager of the garage and his assistant told me two things that left me with questions of whether they know their work or not. 1. No need to change fuel filter for my car because its in the tank, 2. My clutch is fine, the problem is with the gearbox. They suggested that I take my car to someone they know to fix my gearbox, I told them I will but deep inside I knew that I just got my car to incompetent people. About the fuel filter, my fuel filter is right in front next to the engine but they because that is what they good at, fooling people. My gearbox had no problem only my slave cylinder needed proper bleeding for my clutch to allow gear selection easily. I did all this myself after they charge me R2500 for nothing on the car. I also change my filters because they were all not change but they told me that we changed everything. People be aware of these guys who are taking people's money for free without doing a job on the car.
